So,
While farming the Ogre with my level one Clay (golem 6768) I occasionally lose a limb when he busts out his mace and crits.

Happens. No biggie. Sad when he blows up an arm and I lose the arm, hand, and the armor on both. No option to scavenge anything and it is a loss

I head home and build a new arm and a new hand. ... now the odd part ... I add the arm and lo and behold, it adds ARMORED. same with the hand. It has skipped over a step and added the armor that I was missing and had no option to scavenge.

Because this has happened more than once, I checked the last time and no, it wasn\'t in my storage bin either. I went a built new better armor while building the arm & hand then ~blink blink~ I seem to have regenerated armor.

Happened to me as well. Lost my hand, armor vanished but still gave weight. Didn't replace the hand, and then eventually lost the arm. When that happened the armor from both the arm and the(nonexistent)hand fell off and was able to be scavenged.

I didn't realize this problem had started so long ago...

... but it's definitely still active. Teleporting clan items back to the armory interrupts item dropping.

huh, good point. I did have a bronze pointy thing too.

So, two bronze pointy things make for insurance on your armor? As much as this benefits me, I don't think it is right.

Just wanted to point out that this is still happening. And most recently, I lost an arm+hand with two armor and a clan shield attached to it. The armor dropped and was scavenged appropriately, but the shield regenerated. And there's still a message in the clan reports that the shield was returned to the Armory. It wasn't, so to anyone reading the reports who doesn't know what happened, it'll look like the shield has vanished.
